So here we are again Friday, nice of you to visit! :) ....

This week there have been some fun things going on, so here is my 5 highlights of the week & as always Linkin' up with Lauren!

1.) Wednesday night was the Bring Your Best: Chili Cook-off! It was Flavour VS. Men of the House! My sister entered and won first place for Wild Card #1! White Chicken Chili. It was SO yummy! 

2.) On top of it being the Chili cook-off we got to spend some sweet time in our groups! It grew this week!!!! We got to meet some new faces:)... and I only have a picture of some of the members. (which was pictured last week - yes i know) & Shout Out to my sweet friend Kristin Doty - She baked some yummy goodness and let me have one! (I think it was a brownie - but whatever it was, was GUUD) #canihavemoreplease

3.) I got some trendy boots in the mail this week! :) #excited to wear them

4.) LOVING the cooler weather :) 

5.) I only have a month and a 1/2 left of my CHEMISTRY class! I'm jumping for joy... kinda... 

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!!! I am SO ready for this weekend... :) The MIX and Prime are here :D except I will not get to participate in Prime they moved it to after the 11:30 service and I volunteer from 1-5 the 2nd and 4th Sundays out of the month! BUT YOU should go! & I'll get to go next week!! Prayers needed, I have lots of homework due next week, a test, quiz and lab. The Lord is my strength.

Random Wednesday

A) Four places that I go to over and over: Work, Fellowship Church, School, Children's

B) Four people who e-mail me (regularly): My mom, Alma Lee Price, Vicki Burchell (my cousin is a missionary in Mali, Africa and sends emails), Karina & Katrina (trainers)

C) Four of my favorite places to eat: La Madeleine, Maggiano's, Cheddar's, P.F. Chang's

D) Four places I would rather be right now: On a vacation (tropical or cold anywhere but here)! Abilene visiting my grandparents, in PA school already, or a medical mission trip!

E) Four people I think will respond: I'm not expecting anyone to, since this is a blog! (But I tag Julie Thetford, Lauren, Chris and Falen & Laura )

F) Four TV shows I watch over and over: Greys Anatomy, Covert Affairs, Private Practice, Revenge (probably should watch less of them)

Super Tuesday

 

 

 

I decide to link up with Nicholl over at The Chiffon Diary today, for Facts Tuesday ;)

 

Fact: I am not afraid of no makeup days.... (like today!..)

Fact: I think deleting friends in the FB "world" is a little childish - I admit I have done it before!

Fact: Buns & Braids are the hairstyles of laziness, at least in my case and yet they can still look chic.

Fact: My washer & dryer are half the size of a normal washer & dryer, so I get to spend twice the amount of time doing laundry then I would when I was living at my parents house! & I am ever so NOT fond of laundry. #confession

Fact: 70% of people I work with are older than I am as in my parents age or older. (no offense mom & dad!)

Fact: One of my great friends from college, and coworkers is getting married next year in June and I get to be a bridesmaid - wahoo! I love this duty.

Fact: When I see other people's blogs it makes me want to quit my job and focus solely on this so that I can perfect it and spend more time on the design. #sillyiknow

Fact: At the end of a cardio workout, I must make sure all of my calories and miles end in whole numbers - not decimals. (not 124.3 - must be 125) Does this make sense? #analretentivemuch

Fact: Halloween is my least favorite holiday, besides the candy bit.

Fact: Hi, my name is Kristi and I am an Instragm addict.

Fact: It is Mole day! (Mole as in Chemistry mole); makes me want to say moley, moley, moleeeey.

God is Good ALL THE TIME!

Daily Devos -

"Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God; keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commands..." - Deuteronomy 7:9

THINK:

During uncertain times the enemy, Satan, causes us to focus on the things we don't know rather than what we do know. We start allowing those questions that have no answers to go through our minds. "When are they going to call about the job?", "What did the lab tests show?", "What is he or she thinking?". This cycle of questioning causes us to become stifled and we miss God's hand moving in our lives! It's important for us to set a reminder of what we do know instead of creating questions about what we don't know. The Christian life is not about what we don't know. God wants us to go with what we know - that he is bigger than we can imagine, faithful in all things and good at all times!

PRAY:

Pray for God to stop the questions about what you don't know and ask Him to remind you of what you do know - how big, faithful and good He is!

ACT:

Set a reminder on your phone to remind you at random times of how God is BFG - Big, Faithful and Good ALL THE TIME!

Friday Night Highlights!

This week was interesting... I was not really stressed about my extremely hard test that came on Wednesday morning, UNTIL Wednesday morning. lol Ironically, okay not so ironic - I had not studied as much as I wanted but at this point for this test it was toooo late, I was "studied out" math is not my forte and I am just not so into studying for math! So alas, the grade I made I take full credit for and no complaining. HEY I passed! I was agreeable with it due to the low amount of studying that occurred. I am going to try harder on the next one! YES, that's the attitude I need to have & repeat "I love Chemistry!" until 12/14/12 when my class ends. lol

Moving on....

1. I am going to be getting some boots from BELK (never ordered from there before but they had a really good sale going on) - I'll take pics when I receive them!
2. I was in need of some "professional attire" for work so I ordered a blazer and skirt for work! - excited to get those in the mail. I just love snail mail and packages in general.
3. I am wearing one of my favorite pairs of boots today. #FRESHFRIDAY

4. started my day off right with some Starbucks and Michael Buble!

5. Wednesday (I forgot my Random Wednesday post :/ - mental note; must get better!) is FIG - Flavour Influence Groups & Men of the House @ Fellowship Church - Grapevine Campus! & we had some new faces! I love meeting new people and getting to hear opinions from girls my age!

Good morning Bloggies :)

Happy Friday to you! I am always so so soooo thankful when Friday comes! - Aren't you?

I don't know about you but my weeks are seeming to just fly by and I can never gain a hold on them or stop to think for a minute; it's just always go, go, go! I am excited though for this season of life because I am getting to do things I have never done before! As well as learn new things from new people and meeting new people! I'm not taking it for granted.

1. I just love braids & animal print.
2. The wonderfully, newly, engaged Kristen DeLeon graced me with her presence to have dinner with me Monday night! I truly enjoy your friendship and company everytime we get together - so glad God blessed me with you friend!!!
3. I am LOVING this weather. #HELLO
4. I had a Polyatomic Ions and Lab quiz (two quizzes) and I made 100s on BOTH! Giving God the glory. He continually amazes me and shows me that he is enough even when I am not.
5. I absolutely love chocolate milk - went to the store just for this.

I'm quite excited about this weekend, the weeks are flying by me I don't feel like I have a handle on anything any more, perhaps this is what "letting go and letting God" will do to you. I prefer to think of it as organized chaos - except I have a hard time remembering that I am not the organizer. Can I get an Amen?? #ANYONEfeelme

Weekend Additions:

I get another opportunity to shadow a PA at Children's Medical Center this weekend and I am so excited, this will be the 3rd time and we are going to be in a different part of the ER - each time I feel excited/nervous (even though I am only observing) - HOWEVER last time I did get to put gloves on and hold a patients hand/arm while she stitched them up so that he wouldn't move it during the procedure! THAT WAS AWESOME. It's the little things. 

*Also - super fun, studying for Chemistry

I need You by my side today....

Good morning, Happy Wednesday!

Let's just be HONEST; I am already having a crazy, frustrating day. I'm trying to stay positive.... ah prayers are needed.

"Lord, thank You for this day - thank You for a job that do not have to work outside or that I have to be on my feet all day. Thank You for your mercy and forgiving me of my sins, I pray that I would give that same grace to the people that I encounter today. Thank You for the lessons You are trying to teach me - help me to open my eyes and catch on so that I do not have to learn over and over again. Lord, I pray for wisdom regarding people and patience to deal with them. I'm so thankful You love me and my messed up self. Father, I pray that I would be gracious and happy for the authorities you have placed in my life at my work. I pray for peace and understanding of people that I would be compassionate for their sake as well as patient, help me to realize that they may not understand what they are doing at times. Help me to see the way you see people. Lord I want to be more like You, when people see me I want them to see You in my life and not me. I pray that my life would display Christ and that my name would be less known - this is a hard task and I will take one moment at a time. 
I have faith that You will be my strength and You will never leave me and that I can rest in You.I pray all this in Your precious son's name, I pray that you would fulfill your will and take these and do something far beyond anything I could imagine."
