Friday, Friday, Friday.... you are always the highlight of my week, never a damper! So thankful for you ;)  1. FIG (flavour influence groups) - even though it was our last one for the Fall - it was so great, encouraging, reminding us ladies that the Lord's timing is perfect and we will not get to experience the fullness and abundance of God if we rely on ourselves and try to fulfill our own desire/goals! When facing obstacles/trials we have to hold on to our faith and not give up! Hebrews 12:1-3 ; Ephesians 3:20-21

^"20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, ²¹ to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." - Ephesians 3:20-21

This is one of my favorite verses! It's a perfect display of Christ's love for us, and He is the ultimate provider.

3. This past Sunday - my sweet friend Jannehla was baptized! #lifechange was made! AMEN - so happy for you Jannehla.



4. WEEKEND. I get to hang out with some friends that I first met in June of this year when I began taking my prereq's for PA School - it's one friends birthday and we are invited to share in her celebration! Also I will get to see some friends from high school tonight that I hardly ever see & some friends from college!!!! It will be filled with relationships! Of course to add to the excitement - THEMIX & PRIME are this weekend and ****SPECIAL**** PRIME EVENT :D SKATETOWN on Sunday night!!! COME IF YOU CAN :) All the info is below! 5. Today at my work, we are having our annual Administrative Thanksgiving Luncheon - except this time we are being different and having a "PIZZA THANKSGIVING" - excited. I love pizza. (well anything Italian for that matter)
PS. My friend Candace is amazing I went from dark roots ombre - back to blonde last Friday! I love my hair!

Up My Game

Happy Throwback, Thirsty or Thrifty Thursday! (take your pick)

So, I've recently stood back and looked at my wardrobe and I need some serious game changers in my closet. I want to up my professional attire! Everyone at my job wears suites - well HELLO - I work for a Chief Financial Officer. So I have been researching some reasonably priced places  where I can find some professional pieces to add to my closet and I think I have found some at H&M!

Yes, I know they are all black - but that's how the environment is up hear - a tad snoozeville if you catch my drift ;) BUT I can jazz it up with some shoes/blouses/jewels. Love the poofed shoulders on the last blazer.

I found these gems - I can wear them with flats! My legs are SO short that its hard to find slacks that work with flats!  (did you hear that - I rhymed!)

 This blouse also comes in Ivory and Dark Blue/Purple! Love it - may want every color. I love the floral blouse too - something different than black.

 If you have any suggestions or places you love to shop that are reasonably priced - don't hesitate to share! PLEASE :D! I would like to broaden my horizons with the stores I shop from.

Mondays should be more like Fridays!

Happy Monday....

I feel in need of a vacation but I'm not sure that is going to happen anytime soon! I miss being in college and not yet having a sense of urgency to get school done.... aw to be young! ;) - lol I'm feeling old and unaccomplished.

I missed out on blogging last week - its been supa busy at work! I mean like no time to post a status on Facebook or upload a picture to Instagram, busy. Yes, that busy. However, so thankful for a J.O.B. and with that comes responsibility. So alas, I must continue being an adult and carrying on with the routine of work and shove my adolescent behaviors aside.

How are we feeling today bloggets? I don't have any jokes to share with you or fun trivia...

My weekend was pretty amazeballs - I went to karaoke with some beautiful friends on Friday night at the Magic Time Machine, we had dinner (which we probably could have skipped) and then waited for the entertainment to start.... It was hilarious, embarrassing, crazy and fun. All in all we had a good time! To my surprise there was a pretty big crowd there - all mixed from 21-70's it was quite interesting! My favorite song I sung was "Someone Like You" by Adele. Only one picture was taken - I'm not sure why, these would have been great moments to catch. Next time you're looking for something new to try - go to MTM and karaoke - you'll have a blast!

Saturday morning came quick! I was up early to shadow at Children's and boy was I not ready for my voice to be totally gone - little too much fun karoke"ing", next time I will try and sing more than yell ;) LOL
Saturday evening was TheMix and it was CrayCray... the students played a game called SPOONS and it was INTENSE but fun! My 7th grade girls group was 2nd place - 8th grade boys won! We'll get them next time ladies :)

Sunday Funday, was great! Went to church at Fellowship Church - Grapevine, after the service we had Prime! If you have not been to Prime and you are in college or a young professional - you must try it it starts around 12:30 on Sundays at the Grapevine campus. It's an awesome new movement for our generation. Check it out!!!!!!

Happy Monday, hope it feels like a Friday - only 4 more days til the weekend :) whoop!
